Nollywood filmmaker, Jade Osiberu, has shared that she is now a mother, Naija News reports.

She revealed in an Instagram post that she welcomed her first child on August 8, 2025, marking a new chapter in her life as she turned 40 this year.

Osiberu said the experience of becoming a mother has changed her deeply.

She spoke about the long road that led to this moment and expressed gratitude to God for mercy, care, and love through the process.

She also shared the baby’s name, Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, and offered prayers for the child’s future, asking God to protect and guide the baby.

She wrote: “My life changed forever with a heart emoji. God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in his time.

“I have been on many journeys in my life but the journey to becoming a mother has been the most humbling and life defining. God has shown me so much mercy and favour. To say I feel seen and loved by God would be an understatement. I feel like his favorite child.

“May the Lord bless you, may the Lord keep you. May the Lord make you wise, may He show you which way to go and watch over you. May the Lord grant you favour and give you peace. May the Lord be happy with you and may you rest in His love. He will sing and be joyful about you.”

Jade Osiberu is one of the leading creative voices in Nollywood and is the founder of Greoh Studios.

She has worked on many well-known titles, including Isoken, Brotherhood and Gangs of Lagos, which was her first feature film as a director.

She also produced the Sugar Rush movies and has been involved in various film and TV projects.
