OJIAKU KALU: B.Sc., Mass Communication; MBA [Marketing], M.Sc. [PRAD], Ph.D [Communication Studies], is our General Manager/Editor in Chief. A more than 20 year journalism veteran who started his journalism career with the Comet newspaper as Society Correspondent and member of its Editorial Board. When the Comet transformed into Nation– based on acquisition, Dr. Kalu became the paper’s Society Editor as well as member of the Editorial Board. From [the] Nation, he moved to Sun as Senior Analyst, Education and in that position, traversed the country interrogating its higher education managers on sustainable innovation and creative local content in the system and distilling them into weekly editorial for the then education pullout of the paper. He joined the Daily Independent newspaper on a head hunt to boost its editorial content and left in 2012 after two years for university administration when he was appointed Principal Assistant Registrar [Information & Protocol] at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti. In late 2017, he joined the Evangel University Akaeze as a lecturer in Mass Communication and its pioneer Director of Public Affairs.  He is currently the Head of Mass Communication Department of the university.
