Nollywood star, Bimbo Thomas, has shared how she and Funke Akindele faced a scary armed attack while filming the movie Omo Ghetto late at night.

Naija News reports that in an interview with Chude, she said the incident happened around midnight and left everyone on the set afraid.

According to her, they first heard loud banging and people shouting outside.

They tried to stay calm while checking what was going on, but soon realised danger was close.

In fear, they knelt and prayed while trying to keep safe inside the room. Others who were with them also prayed as the noise grew louder.

Bimbo explained that the armed men later broke into the room and kept asking for Funke. When the attackers demanded that Funke step out or face worse trouble, she came forward.

The men then took her outside, leaving the others frightened and unsure of what would happen next.

Bimbo said she later heard Funke singing lines from Omo Ghetto under pressure from the attackers and dancing also.

A short while after that, gunshots were heard in the area, causing even more panic.

Funke later managed to run towards the generator area and got help from an injured security guard, who gave her something to cover herself with.

That marked the end of the long and frightening experience.

Bimbo shared the story, looking back on how risky the moment was and how thankful they are to still be alive.
