The mother of ace Nigerian stand-up comedian, Julius Agwu, has passed away.
Naija News reports that Agwu announced his motherās demise in a post via his š handle on Thursday.
The entertainer said his mother will be dearly missed and prayed that her soul will rest in peace.
He wrote, āMy dearest mother has gone to be with the Lord. Mama Gee, you will be dearly missed. Rest in peaceā.
In other news, content creator, Folorunsho Olayinka, popularly known as Finest, has revealed that the late comedian Adetola Samad, also called Sanku, died in a loaned Lexus SUV, which he had yet to fully pay for.
Finest, who claimed to have stood as guarantor for the comedian in the transaction, stated that the vehicle, a 2012 model Lexus RX 350 SUV, was purchased from an Ilorin-based car dealer for ā¦25.4 million, but had not been fully paid for at the time of Sankuās death.
Speaking during a TikTok livestream on Monday, Finest disclosed that Sanku had only paid ā¦7 million upfront at the time of purchase from JJ Motors Empire and Services Limited, as reflected in a receipt dated June 5, 2025.
He explained that the late comedian continued paying in instalments until he had covered ā¦12.28m, leaving an outstanding balance of over ā¦13m.
